Istanbul Agop Xist Dry Dark Hi-Hat 13″ cymbals

Xist Dry Dark Hi-Hat 13″ has a focused, dark, coarse attack and short decay. A matching Dry Dark Crash can strengthen attack and the closing sound, or act as an alternative bottom for a quiet, soft pair with balanced articulation and low pitch.

Used separately, the top functions as a fast, coarse Crash and the bottom as an accent bell.

XIST Dry Dark connects acoustic and electronic tonal ideas in a modular range. Each cymbal is expressive on its own and in paired or stacked combinations.

The flexible cymbals have a focused onset, dark harmonics and rapid decay. Alone, they provide broad dynamics without overpowering other instruments. Combinations can yield percussive, modern, synthetic textures.

Suitable for traditional jazz, synth-based music, progressive jazz and other styles.
