Istanbul Agop Xist Dry Dark Hi-Hat 10″ cymbals

Xist Dry Dark Hi-Hat 10″ has a focused, dark, coarse onset and quick decay. An extra matching Dry Dark Splash, sold separately, can increase attack and the closing sound or serve as an alternative bottom for a quiet, soft pair with clear articulation.

Separately, the top functions as a fast, coarse Splash. The bottom can act as an accent bell, drum mute or alternative playing surface.

XIST Dry Dark connects acoustic and electronic tonal ideas in a modular range. Each cymbal is expressive on its own and in paired or stacked combinations.

The flexible cymbals have a focused onset, dark harmonics and rapid decay. Alone, they provide broad dynamics without overpowering other instruments. Combinations can yield percussive, modern, synthetic textures.

Suitable for traditional jazz, synth-based music, progressive jazz and other styles.
