The Blackstar St. James 50 6L6 Combo Black is a 50-watt all-tube guitar combo amplifier that combines classic American clean tones with modern high-gain performance and advanced recording capabilities. Thanks to its innovative lightweight construction, it is one of the lightest 50-watt all-valve combo amplifiers available without sacrificing authentic valve feel or tone.

Equipped with 2 × ECC83 preamp valves, 2 × 6L6 power valves, and a custom-designed 12-inch Celestion Zephyr speaker, the amplifier delivers exceptional versatility. Channel I is inspired by legendary mid-1960s American clean amplifiers, offering outstanding headroom, dynamic compression and the perfect pedal platform. Channel II is built for modern players, delivering a powerful British-style overdrive in standard mode, while activating the Voice switch unleashes saturated modern high-gain tones with massive low-end response.

Each channel features its own dedicated EQ circuitry for uncompromised tone. The built-in Reactive Load and CabRig™ DSP speaker simulation provide professional direct recording and silent performance through USB audio or the balanced XLR CabRig output. Power reduction modes (50 W, Sag, and 2 W) allow authentic valve performance at virtually any volume level.
