The Blackstar Dept. 10 Dual Drive is a professional dual-channel valve overdrive pedal that combines authentic tube overdrive tones with a world-class recording preamp in one compact unit. Equipped with a genuine ECC83 (12AX7) valve, Blackstar's patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) and integrated CabRig™ speaker simulation, it delivers inspiring valve amplifier feel for both live performance and studio recording.

The pedal features two independent channels, each with two selectable voicings, allowing instant access to pristine Clean tones alongside three distinctive Crunch and Overdrive voices. The genuine ECC83 valve produces rich harmonic content, smooth compression and exceptional touch sensitivity while preserving the natural character of your guitar.

Blackstar's patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) provides seamless control between classic British and modern American amplifier voicings. The integrated CabRig™ DSP speaker simulator accurately recreates the sound and feel of professionally miked guitar cabinets. Up to three CabRig presets can be stored directly in the pedal, while the free Architect software enables deep editing of cabinets, microphones and room ambience.

Professional connectivity includes a USB recording interface, balanced XLR D.I. output, stereo headphone output and an integrated effects loop for effortless pedalboard integration. With CabRig™ and the balanced XLR output, the Dual Drive also serves as an excellent backup amplifier solution for live performances or a premium valve recording preamp.
