The Blackstar Dept. 10 AMPED 3 is a 100-watt three-channel high-gain guitar amp pedal designed for players who demand the aggressive tones and flexibility of modern multi-channel valve amplifiers in a compact pedalboard-friendly format. Inspired by Blackstar's acclaimed Series One amplifiers, it combines six amp voicings, three fully programmable channels and a professional power amplifier capable of driving a speaker cabinet, feeding a PA system directly or running into the front of a traditional amplifier.

Its unique high-headroom power amplifier automatically matches 8 Ω and 16 Ω speaker cabinets to deliver maximum output and authentic valve amplifier dynamics. The Response control offers three selectable power amp responses – EL84, EL34 and 6L6 – recreating the compression, sag and feel of classic tube amplifiers. Blackstar's patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) provides seamless control between classic British and modern American amplifier characteristics.

AMPED 3 features three footswitchable channels, each offering two selectable voicings, providing a total of six amp voices: Clean Warm, Clean Bright, Crunch, Super Crunch, OD1 and OD2. A fully programmable Boost can be configured as Pre or Post, while the premium studio-quality reverb includes Dark, Light and Freeze functions. All user presets are stored directly on the unit for instant recall.

The built-in CabRig™ speaker simulator delivers studio-quality cabinet emulations for direct recording and live performance. Professional connectivity includes a USB-C audio interface, TRS stereo line output, XLR mono D.I. output, MIDI, a series or parallel effects loop, and dual 9 V DC outputs for powering external pedals. Power Reduction allows output to be switched between 100 W, 20 W and 1 W, making AMPED 3 equally at home on stage or in the studio.
