The Blackstar Dept. 10 AMPED 1 is a 100-watt guitar amp pedal that transforms any pedalboard, modeller or multi-effects processor into a professional performance-ready amplifier. Combining a powerful Class D power amplifier, advanced DSP technology and extensive connectivity, it delivers stage-ready performance in an incredibly compact format.

Its unique high-headroom power amplifier delivers the full 100 watts into 8 Ω or 16 Ω speaker cabinets. The Response control provides five authentic valve power amp responses – KT88, 6L6, EL34, 6V6 and EL84 – accurately recreating the dynamics, sag, compression and break-up characteristics of classic valve amplifiers. A dedicated Linear mode offers transparent amplification for use with external preamps and amp modellers.

AMPED 1 features three selectable Voices – USA, UK and Flat. USA and UK provide classic American and British amplifier characteristics, while Flat is designed for external preamps or modelling processors. Two operating modes, Manual and Preset, allow instant switching between live settings and stored configurations.

The built-in CabRig™ speaker simulator delivers studio-quality cabinet emulations for recording and live performance. Using the free Architect software, users can customise virtual cabinets and store personalised presets. Professional connectivity includes a USB audio interface, balanced XLR D.I. output, MIDI, a serial or parallel effects loop, dual 9 V DC outputs for powering pedals, and a premium studio-quality reverb with Freeze functionality.
