The Afroton Standard djembe stands 50–52 cm high with a diameter of 25–26 cm. Its body is carved by hand from a single trunk and fitted with a selected goatskin head for a broad tonal range. This portable drum suits children and adults, group music-making and rhythm lessons. Rope tension allows the tuning to be adjusted.

Natural hide, wood and hand craftsmanship mean that appearance and dimensions within the stated range may vary between instruments.
